College Park Community Church

Denis Cronkright, our Pastor, began his ministry at College Park in October 2006. He was born and raised in West Michigan in the Grand Rapids area in the little town of Cedar Springs. After high school he attended Grand Rapids, Junior College. Then he became a partner in the family hardware business. He worked there for 7 years, and during his time in business attended and graduated from the Grand Rapids School of Bible and Music (GRSBM), a Bible Institute that trained pastors, missionaries and Christian workers. It later merged with Grand Rapids Baptist College and is now Cornerstone University, still located in Grand Rapids.

After graduation pastor Denis began his first full time pastoral ministry in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. He later ministered at Gilead Baptist Church in Allen Park Michigan, Hilltop Baptist in Kingman and in late 2006 accepted the call to pastor College Park church.

Ben Pyland came to us after serving our country in the military. He joined our staff as the Youth Pastor in 2020. He is driven by passion and excitement for youth ministry and has creatively designed a program that keeps our youth busy and active both in and outside of the church while discipling them to be followers of Christ.

Russ and his wife Deb started attending College Park Church in 2008. Russ first became active with the van ministry and Awana. Russ became a deacon in 2012 and lead deacon in 2018. Russ is also active in Kingdom KidZ and manages building usage for our three buildings. Deb is active in Operation Christmas Child and works in the nursery on Sundays.

Jim has been our worship director for several years.  He was lead to join the deacon board in 2022 and became a deacon in training in July of 2022. Jim graduated to full deacon in July of 2023.

Jim is married to Joy and they have a son Samuel.

Jim and his wife Lynda relocated to Kingman, AZ from Jacksonville, Florida in May of 2021. Jim and Lynda have two sons, one living here in Kingman, and the other in Indiana. They began attending College Park Community Church and have been active in ministry since their arrival. Jim has a passion for the God's Word and reaching the lost.

James has attended College Park Community Church since 2013 and has become an ardent follower of Christ. He serves in several different ministries, including Church on the Street and our van ministry. James has a heart for serving God and loving people.
